AVEVA and Poka Partner to Accelerate Industrial Workforce Digital TransformationAnnouncing a new partnership between Poka and AVEVA to bring a more integrated connected worker experience to market.
When Antoine and I started Poka 6 years ago, we knew there was a real need for an innovative industrial application that could empower factory workers to win every shift and contribute to manufacturing excellence. Since then, we’ve worked hard to support our growing customer base of pioneering global manufacturers, and to build the most comprehensive connected worker platform out there.
Fast forward to today, we are seeing that 2020 has emphasized the importance of shifting the focus of digital transformation towards frontline worker autonomy and safety instead of assets and data. The adoption of connected worker technology has grown due to physical distancing and work from home measures, in addition to an aging and unstable workforce which 67% of manufacturers cite as a top challenge in a recent LNS Research report.
It’s against this backdrop that we are excited to announce a strategic partnership with AVEVA that allows the company to license and resell Poka as AVEVA Teamwork. This development validates the increased importance of connecting and empowering frontline workers as part of a comprehensive industrial transformation strategy. It also validates Poka’s position as the leading connected worker platform on the market. The combined offering from Poka and AVEVA will bring to market a more integrated connected worker experience, specifically with AVEVA’s portfolio of production floor solutions.
This is a step towards fulfilling our vision of connecting industrial workers to better engage and participate in manufacturing excellence. AVEVA is one of the largest industrial software companies in the world, with more than 5000 distribution and integration partners globally. This expansive network will fast-track Poka’s global reach into new markets and better support initiatives at a local and regional level in every corner of the world. Simultaneously, we’ll continue to develop the most innovative and valuable functionality to help our clients achieve their digital transformation goals.
Through its partnership with Poka, AVEVA has introduced a completely new solution category to its portfolio in an accelerated time-to-market. Together, we look forward to driving industrial workforce transformation at a global scale.
